I got woken up at 4am the other night because I could feel something tickling my hair. I thought I was imagining it until I felt it it run down my chest. I’ve never moved/woken up so fast in my life. I pulled back the sheets and it was a F*ING MONSTER!! 🕷️ Funnily enough I’ve not been sleeping well since… On a happier note, I loved your dinner outfit! And glad to know it’s not just me who can’t resist the candles in TK Maxx when I have a whole box under my bed and I’m not allowed to buy any more candles!! 🤣

Lavender is a good bug repellent including spiders. If you spray lavender on a duster and dust furniture and behind dark areas spiders don’t like it. They love dark cluttered areas and boxes. All insects love card board boxes.

I hope you don’t take this the wrong way but those oral flea and tick medicines can actually cause lots of problems for pets. A lot of dogs have died and/or developed seizures from ingesting those types of preventatives. If you do some research, you’ll find that the medication kills fleas and ticks die by overstimulating their central nervous system. Essentially, the fleas and ticks go mad and die. If the medicine affects fleas in this manner, you can bet it affects your pet in the same way just on a lower scale. The chemical will eventually build up in the system and your pet can go into toxic overload aka seizure. This may or may not happen to your pet but I’m not willing to take that chance! These medicines don’t actually prevent your pet from getting bitten by fleas or ticks either so your pet can still get Lyme from a tick. Search ‘flea and tick medicine toxic seizure’ if you’d like to see for yourself. Also, not to sound like a conspiracy theorist but these monthly preventative medicines are a huge money maker to the vet industry therefore most people don’t find out about this adverse affect until they experience it with their own pet and by then it’s too late. We gave my oldest dog Trifexis religiously every month for 5 years before I found out what these chemicals are actually doing to our pets. I haven’t given her Trifexis in 7 months and haven’t had a flea problem yet. And I live in Texas where fleas are pretty bad. Of course, we use other non-chemical methods to prevent fleas but I’ll never give them another oral preventative dose again. I know how much you love Leo and I’m sure you’d want to know if something was bad for him so I hope this helps you in some way!
